We have just finished uploading and editing our recent photographs from our recent trips to Washington DC.
We really enjoyed our visit to DC and loved perusing the galleries in the many museums on the Mall. The Asian Art Gallery had a small exhibit on Achaemenid Persia, Dumbarton Oaks had a fantastic collection of Pre-Columbian art, as well as some choice Roman pieces, the National Art Gallery had some lovely bronzes and paintings inspired by the Ancient World, and the Natural History Museum had a lovely exhibit in Egyptian Mummies.
